Welcome to Bethany Baptist Church. We are an old fashioned, Independent Fundamental Baptist church in Thomasville, North Carolina, with a heart for people and a desire to honor the Lord in all that we do. We still believe in preaching the Bible, reaching the lost with the Gospel, loving people, and raising our families according to the Word of God.

At Bethany, the Bible is not something we seek to change to fit the times. We believe it is the inspired and preserved Word of God and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. We stand without apology upon the King James Bible and believe that the preaching of God's Word is still able to reach hearts, strengthen families, and change lives.

We still believe in old fashioned preaching, prayer, soul winning, missions, Christ honoring music, and a church family that loves and cares for one another.

Our desire is to see people come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and then grow in their walk with Him. We want Bethany to be a place where children and young people are taught the truth of God's Word, families are strengthened, Christians are encouraged, and everyone has an opportunity to serve the Lord.
