Teaching Children the Word of God
Children's Church at Bethany Baptist Church gives children an opportunity to hear the Bible taught and preached in a setting designed especially for them.
Our desire is for children to enjoy coming to church while developing a love for God's Word, a love for the house of God, and a desire to live for the Lord.
Little Children's Church & Big Children's Church
We offer both Little Children's Church and Big Children's Church so children can be taught in a setting appropriate for their age. Bible lessons and activities are presented in a way that children can understand while helping them learn and remember the truths of God's Word.
Bible Teaching
Children's Church includes Bible lessons, Scripture reading, singing, preaching, and activities that help children understand the truths they are being taught.
Our purpose is much more than simply providing something for children to do during the church service. We want them to know the Bible and understand from an early age that God's Word is important for every part of their lives.
Learning to Participate in Church
Children are encouraged to take part in the service. They learn about giving through tithes and offerings, reading from the Bible, singing, listening to the preaching of God's Word, and showing respect while in the house of God.
These experiences help children understand that church is not simply a place they attend. It is a place where they can worship, learn, participate, and grow.
Our Desire for Every Child
We want every child who comes to Children's Church to know that they are loved and welcome. Most importantly, we want them to hear the truth of the Gospel and understand their need for Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
As children grow, our prayer is that the Biblical truths they learn will help build a strong foundation for their lives and encourage them to continue faithfully serving the Lord.
We want children to love coming to church, love learning the Bible, and grow up knowing that God's Word can guide them throughout their lives.
