Bethany Christian School
A Ministry of Bethany Baptist Church
More Than an Education
Bethany Christian School exists to provide young people with a strong education in a Christ-centered environment. We believe education should prepare students academically while also helping them develop Christian character and a Biblical foundation for life.
Our desire is to see students grow in knowledge, wisdom, responsibility, and confidence while learning to honor the Lord in the classroom and in their daily lives.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Bethany Christian School is to provide students with a strong academic education taught in the light of God's Word.
We believe true education recognizes God as the Creator and source of all truth. Every subject is approached with the understanding that God's Word is truth and that Jesus Christ should have the preeminence in all things.
A Biblical Foundation
The King James Bible is at the heart of Bethany Christian School. Biblical truth is not limited to Bible class or chapel. It is the foundation upon which our educational philosophy is built.
We want students to learn more than facts. We want them to understand the world in the light of God's Word and to develop Biblical convictions that will guide them throughout their lives.
Christian Teachers Who Care
Our teachers are born-again Christians who have personally accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour and desire to honor Him through both their teaching and their example.
We believe teachers have the opportunity to influence much more than a student's academic progress. Our teachers desire to see students grow in knowledge, wisdom, responsibility, confidence, and Christian character.
Our desire is to provide an excellent education in a Christian environment where God's Word is honored, students are cared for, and Jesus Christ has the preeminence.
Partnering With Christian Families
We believe God has given parents the primary responsibility of training their children. Bethany Christian School exists to come alongside Christian parents and support them in that responsibility.
Our school is designed for families who desire a Christ-centered education and want their children taught in an environment that supports Biblical principles, Christian conduct, and respect for God-given authority.
Christian Character
Education involves much more than grades. We desire to see our students develop honesty, integrity, humility, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, confidence in Christ, and a Christlike attitude.
Students are encouraged to work hard, treat others with respect, accept responsibility for their actions, and represent Christ well both at school and away from school.
Athletics & Student Life
School life at Bethany extends beyond the classroom. Athletics and school activities provide opportunities for students to develop teamwork, discipline, perseverance, leadership, friendships, and good sportsmanship.
Whether learning in the classroom or representing the Bethany Eagles in competition, students are encouraged to give their best and honor the Lord in their attitude, effort, conduct, and character.
