What We Believe
The Inspiration of the Bible
We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the complete revelation from God and is verbally inspired. We believe the Authorized King James Bible is God's preserved Word and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
The Person of God
We believe God is supreme in His person, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, and glorious in His perfection. We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
The Person of Jesus Christ
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, His deity and sinless life, His vicarious death on the cross, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and His personal, pre-tribulation, and pre-millennial return.
The Person of the Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. His purpose is to convict sinners and offer salvation through the person of Jesus Christ. Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him. He is the Great Comforter.
The Fall of Man
We believe that man was created in the image of God and by choice fell into sin and death. Therefore, every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgment.
The Salvation of Sinners
We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation. The condition of salvation is repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work. We believe salvation produces a new creature.
The Security of the Believer
We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Savior are eternally secure. Our security rests upon the finished work of Jesus Christ, and as a result we have assurance.
The Church
We believe that the visible church is the congregation of baptized believers, practicing New Testament principles, believing its doctrine, observing its ordinances of baptism and the Lord's Supper, and exercising its autonomy.
The Ordinances
We believe that the Scriptural ordinances of the church are Believer's Baptism by immersion and the Lord's Supper as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Doctrine of Heaven and Hell
We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in Hell.
Christian Living
We believe that every believer should strive to live a holy life that honors the Lord Jesus Christ. Through obedience to God's Word, faithful church attendance, prayer, Bible study, and Christian service, believers grow in grace and become effective witnesses for Christ.
The Great Commission
We believe in the Great Commission as given by our Lord, which is to preach the Gospel to the whole world and to seek the salvation of lost souls.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal, visible, imminent, pre-tribulation, and pre-millennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
